Preventing Student Attrition
The goal of the Educator is to move students to graduation. Unfortunately, that goal is not always achieved. Students drop out for all sorts of reasons, some of them preventable.
Individual faculty members usually don’t have the full picture, and signs that a student is struggling often go unseen.
Many student information systems are not able to identify at-risk students. Falling grades or attendances semester by semester can be great indicators that students are at risk.
RIO Education tracks these data trends and can pro-actively alert the relevant faculty to help before it is too late.
