What Happens When a Product is Removed from an Opportunity?

Note: You cannot delete an Opportunity Product from an Opportunity that has reached the Opportunity – Probability % to Commit stage. You will need to move the Opportunity to a stage with lower Probability (%) to continue.

When an Opportunity Product is removed from an Opportunity that has reached the Opportunity – Probability % to Reserve stage, the Product’s Reserved quantity field will be readjusted, also updated the Available quantity field.

For example:

An Opportunity has reached the stage where the Opportunity Probability (%) is equal to or greater than that defined in the RIO Inventory Configuration:

18.2

When the Opportunity Product is removed from the Opportunity, the product’s Quantity on Hand value will be reverted to the original value of 50.
