While running RIO Inventory, products that do not require inventory level tracking (On Hand) are identified by ticking the Is Non Inventory Item+ checkbox indicated below:
This will indicate to the system that this product is a Non-Inventory Item, and will no longer track the On Hand quantity.
Adding the Non-Inventory Product into an Opportunity
- When a non-inventory type product is added as an Opportunity Product, the product won’t show up in the Warehouse Inventory section of the Opportunity page.
- The Non-Inventory Product’s On Hand quantity will not be adjusted when the Opportunity Probability (%) reaches the threshold configured in the RIO Inventory Configuration page.
