When the certificate in your Private Xero Application expires, Xero will stop working with RIO Finance until you create a new certificate and reconnect.
To do this, you will need to:
- Generate a new public/private key pair and upload the public key to your Xero app. Xero has detailed instructions and a quick walkthrough video to help you out.
- Disconnect from Xero in the Xero Configuration.
- Connect to Xero again and follow the connection setup instructions from before.
- You will only need to do the Connection Setup tab – your settings from the Preliminary sync jobs and general configuration will be kept.
